Terms and Conditions 2023/24

These terms and conditions apply to all players registered with the Club whose details are submitted using an online registration form and/or who take part in any footballing activity for the Club. By submitting the registration form, or allowing your child to take part in activities organised by the Club, you agree that you and your child will comply with these terms and conditions:

Subscriptions

You agree to pay subscriptions due to the Club subject to such subscriptions having been previously notified to you by the Club. You acknowledge that your child attending activities run by the Club after subscriptions have been notified to you shall be acceptance of your liability to pay such subscriptions.

Code of Conduct

You agree to comply with the FA Respect Campaign, any codes of conduct, and policies issued by the Club (copies of which are available here. This is applicable to all Managers, Coaches, Players and Parents of HJFC.

Duty of Care

The Clubs responsibility for your child starts and stops at the touchline for matches and training sessions. It is your responsibility to arrange safe travel to and from these pickup points.

Your Data

Membership Records may be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act, no disclosure of information will be made outside the Club other than to the respective football leagues, West Riding Football Association or to the Football Association without your approval. To see the data please contact the Club Secretary. You consent to the Club registering your child with the relevant football league and West Riding County Football. We may send you emails (including marketing) from the Club at the email address supplied during registration.

FA Fines

You agree you are liable to pay any fines awarded against your child by such football league or West Riding County Football Association. In the event of a player, receiving a caution or a sending off, the administration fee and/or fine is the responsibility of the parent/guardian of the player.  He/she is to reimburse the club within 14 days of notification by the club.  Failure to do so will result in the suspension of the player.

Photography and Social Media

You consent to the Club taking photographs and/or videography of your child and for such recordings to be used by the Club for training or promotional purposes (including on the website). We adhere to FA Guidelines to ensure these are safe and respectful and used solely for the purposes they are intended for, which is the promotion and celebration of the Club and training purposes. Photo permisssions are agreed at registration. You can change that permission in writing at a later day by contacting the club administrator.   

 Medical

You consent to a Club representative providing basic first aid and lifesaving aid to your child where necessary and in circumstances where the Club is unable to contact you or your nominated emergency contact, you agree that a Club representative may take your child to hospital and give consent for emergency treatment. 

If you inform us to administer medication, please ensure your Team Manager (or nominated person) has the medication in his/her possession.  Failure to do so could result in your child not being allowed to participate.

"Club" means Horsforth JFC Limited and its agents including without limitation its coaches and affiliates.
