New season kicks off

New 2025 / 26 season kicks off

⚽ 2025/26 season kicks off

We're back!

After a fantastic 2024/25 season full of progress, friendships, and memorable goals (on and off the pitch), we’re ready to kick off again for another brilliant year of grassroots football.

Before we get into what’s coming up, we just want to say a huge thank you to all our amazing players and families. Your support last season - from braving the sidelines in all weathers; helping out with lifts; and your excellent support for all of our teams – it made a massive difference. It was great to see so many of you at our end-of-season event too. Here's to more of the same this year!

🏃 Training

We’ve managed to secure at some of the best local facilities again this season, including Bodington, Weetwood, Woodhouse Grove School, Trinity University, and Yarnbury. These brilliant pitches and sports spaces give our players the environment they need to learn, improve, and enjoy their football.

🔁 Training restarts on Friday 4th, & Saturday 6th and Tuesday 9th September

📅 Full training times & term dates: https://www.horsforthjfc.co.uk/times-and-venues

Please check the website for your team’s specific slot. We’d also like to remind parents of our younger players (under 11 years old) that you or a delegated guardian must remain onsite and pitch side during training sessions.

💷 Fees

Invoices for the first set of 2025/26 training fees will be landing soon.

This season’s fees are:

  • Boys fees: £270

  • Girls fees: £207

  • Under 7’s (Year 2): £100

We’re proud to keep our fees competitive, and want to remind you that we’re a not-for-profit club -  every penny goes straight back into improving what we offer, from qualified coaches to better equipment and amazing training & match day pitches.

🙌 Volunteers – we need you!

Match day support. Every match, every weekend, across every age group - they all rely on our incredible team of volunteer managers and helpers. We’re always looking for more people to get involved, and we’d love to hear from you if you think you can lend a hand. It’s incredibly rewarding if you can lend some time.

You don’t need coaching experience - just a bit of time, energy, and a willingness to help out with team admin or matchday supervision.

🏟️ League matches

Matches kick off from 5th September – and we can’t wait to see the teams in action again. Whether it’s your child’s first ever game or they’re entering their fifth season, we know how much it means to all the players.

Don’t forget to check your team’s fixture list (these will be shared by your managers as soon as they’re confirmed).

💬 Welfare & Support

As a club, we’re passionate about creating a positive, welcoming environment for all players - both ours and those from visiting teams.

Please help us maintain our high standards on the sidelines by supporting and encouraging every player, every week. Whether we win, lose, or draw, it's about giving kids the space to play, learn, and enjoy the game.
